Blazing Skies, Red Poppy Painting

Blazing skies is an original painting done mostly with a palette knife. I love the poppy flowers in spring here in New Zealand and can think of nothing better than to paint a whole field of them. Gives me a chance to do some really colourful art and break out the red paint straight from the tube. This little painting would make a get small gift as it would fit into any size home and brighten anyone's day.
