The galaxy girl series was inspired by space and girls in dresses. I had a great time coming up with fantasy ideas for girls creating the colours in space as they travelled twirling and dancing through the universe. This one reminded me of a star bursting in space. I had to think carefully about how I could still make this concept work as a dress. I loved how the colours turned out.
