This abstract acrylic painting inspired by turquoise stone. It was done after I did a turquoise stone look on my nails using sharpie pens.
I wanted to see if the same methods I used on my nails would work on a painting. The sharpie markers were dissolved and spread with rubbing alcohol and I think gave it a really nice stone look alike effect. I will also use metal foil in a very cool bronze pattern with this as well, but you don't have to use the foil to give a nice look to this painting. Just use more of the bronze paint. Now I am trying to make a pleasing abstract painting here not just a faux turquoise stone look so I will talk a little about my ideas on composition and making a good design.
